Limited Edition Serigraph Prints
SEAN GANNON
As It Is Here So It Is There
A Collaboration Between Sean Gannon and Taller75Grados CDMX
Presented here is the inaugural release of serigraph prints from Sean Gannon’s As It Is Here So It Is There series completed at Taller75Grados of Mexico City. As a devoted gardener and avid stargazer, Gannon discovers his fractal language for these new artworks in the unfurling swirls and dynamic orbs observed in both the living landscape below and the celestial realm above.
Translating the highly saturated bold colors and curvilinear hard edges of Gannon's paintings into oil-based prints requires extraordinary technical proficiency. For this reason, Gannon traveled to Mexico City to work directly with Maestro Arturo Negrete and Taller75Grados, whose silkscreen craftsmanship is unparalleled in Latin America.
